This is Li Chenzhou in Episode 27, when he was fighting against Xiao Qiushui, as seen in the featured image of the second part. His martial arts skills are known for his iron fist, and he enjoys the reputation being the “King of the World”.
Li Chenzhou and Xiao Qiushui formed a complex relationship of both enemy and friend due to their similar appearance but different personalities, and the interaction between the two promotes the development of the storyline of The Journey of Legend ( 赴山海 ).

We will get to know more about this charismatic leader in this part and the final part.
Recap Episodes 21 to 30
Episode 21
Oopsie, this Shao Liulei was normal and only pretending to be stupid. And strong, too. He snatched back the Infinite Pill from Red Phoenix and revealed that he knew Qiushui lied. Shao Liulei sealed Red Phoenix’s acupoints and wanted to rape her to relieve the yang energy from the Infinite Pill. Apparently, this yang energy increased libido. Although Red Phoenix was his enemy, Qiushui couldn’t stand the situation in front of him and rebuked Shao Liulei for having no dignity and struck him, but Shao Liulei strangled him. He then forced the Infinite Pill into Qiushui, so he could suffer the painful yang energy.
Shao Liulei threw both Qiushui and Red Phoenix off the cliff next to the temple. The yang energy was activated inside Qiushui, and his body was burning with desire, but he didn’t want to disgrace Red Phoenix. Qiushui jumped into the cold lake to extinguish the yang energy. While he was in the water, a white snake came and bit Qiushui. After the snake left, Qiushui realized that the heat and pain inside his body subsided. He remembered that Shao Liulei had told them he had been looking for spiritual animals with the yin energy to balance the Infinite Pill. The white snake venom was the ingredient of the complete Infinite Pill. His internal energy was greatly increased, and he could exert the force of the lake water. He released Red Phoenix’s acupoints and asked her where her master took his parents’ bodies. Although Red Phoenix was grateful, she truly didn’t know where her master had taken them. Qiushui told her to pass his revenge messages to her master and Li Chenzhou.

Shao Liulei was then killed by Kang Chuyu, who in turn was killed by Qiushui.
The rest of the episode was about Li Chenzhou, his wife, and Suifeng investigating a mole inside the Power Gang that fed information to their enemies. I was not interested in their business as long as Qiushui was not in it.
The only interesting thing about the rest of the episode was when Red Phoenix seemed to waver in her full loyalty to her master. She didn’t tell Suifeng what happened at the temple with Qiushui, that he had the Infinite Pill inside him now, and even told Suifeng that Quishui was not worthy of his attention. It seemed she had an unrequited love with her master, since she was unhappy before when Suifeng paid attention to Tang Fang and even instructed Red Phoenix not to harm or kill Tang Fang. Red Phoenix was disappointed when Suifeng seemed not to care about her well-being and only about whether she did his orders or not.
Episode 22
Grandmaster Dayin was grateful that Qiushui saved his life, so he imparted his best skill, The Energy Taming Technique, which could regulate his breathing and power so he became better at controlling his internal energy. Although Qiushui’s internal strength had improved, his martial arts were still unstable and needed more practice.
Grandmaster Dayin, mentioned that he had been to the Sword Cottage, the Xiao Family stronghold. He couldn’t understand why the indestructible place could be broken into by the Power Gang. Qiushui told him about the traitor family butler. Prince Liang met the butler before, a reclusive and a loner. How could he be threatened by the Power Gang? Grandmaster Dayin mentioned the Misery Pill developed by Power Gang. They decided to examine the butler’s body. Sure enough, Grandmaster Dayin retracted a Death Beetle from the butler’s body; it was produced by the Ghost King. No wonder Power Gang could overcome so many sects and gangs, because they use the death beetles to control the people.
Xiao Yiren lost his reputation, and various sects had severed ties with the Xiao Family. He disregarded Xiao Xueyu’s advice to work together with Qiushui. Meanwhile, Qiushui practiced Grandmaster Dayin’s teaching, and his martial arts skills increased at a rapid pace.

Tang Sect recruited a lot of disciples who left or didn’t want to go to the Huanhua Sect. The Sect also held a grand ancestral ceremony to show off and oppose the Xiao Family. Yiren took his brother Kaiyan to find out. They were greatly humiliated, since the Tang and the Nangong sects now were leading sects in the country. When Yiren visited the Nangong Sect, they proposed to marry Xiao Xueyu off to Nangong Wushang or hand over the Huanhua Sword Manual. Yiren couldn’t agree to any of these things. However, Nangong Wushang stole the Huanhua Sword Manual and wanted to marry Xueyu in exchange to the Manual.
Episode 23
While spying on Qu Hanshan’s hiding place, Qiushui saw a man who looked like Mingming’s friend in the real world. Qiushui suddenly remembered San Cai, whom he had saved and was recorded in the original story. After Qiushui revealed his identity, San Cai was very grateful and felt like he had known Qiushui for a long time. Did San Cai also transmigrate into the story? Mingming had created San Cai, so San Cai remembered some words from the real world, including the English “Oh my God!”. Hahaha, that was funny! San Cai had been a spy inside the Power Gang, although he didn’t know what it was for. Now that he had met Qiushui, his undercover identity had finally come in handy.
Qiushui wanted to draw a wedge between Qu Hanshan and Suifeng, because the two were at odds. So he let San Cai tie him up and brought him to Qu Hanshan. The latter was first suspicious at Qiushui, especially since he had destroyed Qiushui’s martial arts skill before. However, Qiushui said that the hatred of Suifeng for killing his parents was far greater than his hatred of Qu Hanshan destroying his martial arts skills. If Qu Hanshan helped him kill Suifeng, Qiushui would definitely give Qu Hanshan the Hero Command Token.
Qu Hanshan suspected that Qiushui did not have the Token at all, so Qiushui revealed that there were fingerprints of the heads of the three major sects on the back of the Token. Only a few people knew this secret. He didn’t have any advantage from the Token, it only led him to disaster. While the two were talking, someone brought Kang Chuyu’s body (whom Qiushui killed) to the door.
Qu Hanshan’s men reported that they had found corpse beetles on Kang Chuyu’s body. Qu Hanshan guessed that Suifeng must have known about his relationship with Kang Chuyu, and secretly threw the corpse beetles. Actually, it was Qiushui’s doing. He put the beetles found on the butler’s body on Kang Chuyu’s body. Qu Hanshan agreed to cooperate with Qiushui to kill Suifeng. However, to prove Qiushui’s good intentions, he had to go to Ghost King’s stronghold in Yimen to get something for him.
In another place, Tang Sect, Tang Fang found that their butler wanted to poison her father. The same thing happened with the Xiao Family. When the butler was caught, he committed suicide. Corpse beetles crawled out of the wound. Since the Tang Sect was tightly guarded, there must be an insider who did it. Tang Fang guessed that it must be Tang Song who arranged it, by the help of the Power Gang.
The Ghost King had always been suspicious. So, in order not to attract attention, Qiushui went to Yimen Town alone. He bumped into Tang Fang, who followed Tang Song and his sister to Yimen Town, who would get the corpse beetles to control the Tang Sect. While Qiushui and Tang Fang were spying, they were found. Tang Song fell into a trap while chasing after the Tang traitors and Ghost King. Qiushui fought with Suifeng and the latter couldn’t hurt him, so Suifeng ran away. The rest of the Shenzhou Sworn Brotherhood rescued the people who would be fed to the corpse beetles.
Suifeng found that Qiushui’s internal strength had improved greatly. Red Phoenix finally confessed that she held the facts that Qiushui had ingested the Infinite Pill, because he rescued her. Red Phoenix said Qiushui was different from others she knew. Every time she saw Qiushui, he was different from others; he made her feel that one didn’t have to live on the edge, but could choose a different life. Suifeng was very angry at the Red Phoenix and sent her to kneel at the Repentance Cliff for seven days and seven nights without water.
Qiushui reunited with his friends, and he invited everyone to eat and drink.

Episode 24
After the reunion meal, while they were by themselves, Qiushui showed Tang Fang the Hero Command Token. Tang Fang regretted that there was no Voidheart Codex to save her father. Qiushui told her that out of the three people who signed the Token: Tianzheng of Shaolin, Taichan of Wudang, and Zhichen of Emei. Only Zhichen of the Emei Sect was still alive. If they could find her, she would definitely know something about the Voidheart Codex, and perhaps she could heal Tang Shunyao. Qiushui also promised Old Madam Wu to find Crazy Yan’s sister.
I love the scene below, where Qiushui practiced martial arts alongside the Shenzhou Sworn Brotherhood members. The group got stronger and stronger; they must restore peace in the martial arts world. They raided Power Gang’s bases one by one for the benefit of the people.

Tang Fang sent her spying bee to follow Tang Song. Tang Fang was suspicious that Tang Song intended to rejuvenate the Death Beetle King in Insect Valley. The place would also be the next venue for the Nite of Yinhai, where anyone from the Tang Sect could challenge to determine the position of the Sect Leader.
The remainder of the episode was what happened during the Nite of Yinhai. Let me summarize them. Firstly and most importantly, Tang Fang won the position of the future Sect Leader from Tang Song, who cheated. Lady Tang, the chief of Tang Sect, ordered Tang Song to be imprisoned, and his sister to be punished.
Qu Hanshan killed the Ghost King. Qiushui killed Qu Hanshan. Suifeng fled the scene. The other Kings blamed him for the deaths of the Sword King and the Ghost King. Li Chenzhou rushed to stop them, saying that Suifeng was only acting in accordance with the situation and had no intention of rebelling.
Episode 25
I don’t understand why Qiushui wanted to give the Changge Sword to his useless brother Yiren. This guy didn’t care about his little bro at all, and Qiushui had worked hard to eliminate enemies from the Power Gang. I assumed that after the Magic Codex left him alone to create his own story, Qiushui didn’t have any intention to be the Huanhua Sect leader. But now, Qiushui didn’t want to give the Changge Sword to Yiren either; he was afraid that Yiren would misunderstand him, too.
Luckily, he had his martial arts brothers and sisters from the Shenzhou Sworn Brotherhood, who supported and comforted him. Together they played the song “Laughter From the Sea”, which OST was sung by the actor himself.

Poor Xiao Xueyu sacrificed herself to marry Nangong Wushang from the Nangong Sect. That was because, in the past, the Huanhua Sect needed their support to fight against Tang Song from the Tang Sect. Qiushui returned home to give the Changge Sword to Yiren. When he arrived, the Sect was having a wedding party. Qiushui reminded Yiren not to put the burden of rebuilding the Xiao family on Xueyu. Yiren accused his brother of not being qualified to say that. Qiushui understood Yiren was afraid of Tang Song, so he said Tang Song had lost and was imprisoned. When Yiren learned that Qiushui had been to the Tang Sect and was worried that Qiushui would bring shame to the Xiao family again, he became angry at poor Qiushui. Kaiyan explained to Qiushui that the Nangong family threatened their family with the Huanhua Sword Manual they stole.
It turned out the Nangong family tricked them, and Xueyu didn’t marry Nangong Wushang but an ugly guy from the Nangong Family. Qiushui rescued his adopted sister and kicked out the groom with his Changge Sword. Nangong Wushang blackmailed them to pay a lot of money, stating that Xueyu ditched the marriage. Qiushui arrived and drove away Nangong Wushang. The stupid brother Yiren was furious when he saw Qiushui had gotten the Changge Sword. Qiushui said that he originally wanted to return the Changge Sword, but Yiren was a failure as the eldest son to revitalize the Xiao Family, and he would be responsible for revitalizing the Xiao Family. He would take the lead in his own way.
Episode 26
Yay… this clumsy San Cai (he tried to fly like the martial artists but failed, haha), turned out to be a big asset for Qiushui. He found an eagle flute from Northern Wasteland in the secret compartment of the Sword King’s bedroom. Shockingly, San Cai also found some letters written in Simplified Chinese characters! There was even a letter with a romanized “R” on it! Since Qiushui transmigrated, he had only seen Traditional Chinese characters. Qiushui was suspicious that others had transmigrated, too! No wonder the plot kept changing! Qiushui asked San Cai what Qu Hangshan was in the original story. San Cai said that Qu Hanshan was a loyal general to Li Chenzhou. But in fact, in this transmigration world, Qu Hanshan was a traitor and colluded with the Northern Wasteland. Qiushui felt at a disadvantage. Whoever changed the plot kept hiding, while Qiushui was in the open.

Qiushui took San Cai to the Sword Tomb and found that the Voidheart Codex had been scratched beyond recognition. Qiushui suspected Suifeng was the transmigator (since he pretended to be Feng Lang), and SanCai suspected Li Chenzhou (because he stayed hidden). They wanted to test both people. Qiushui wrote letters to both. When Red Phoenix was doing her errands, Qiushui sealed her acupoints and told her to deliver letters to Li Chenzhou and Suifeng.
Suifeng was angry receiving Qiushui’s letter, since he didn’t understand it. Qiushui deliberately included a few modern song lyrics to test him, haha! Li Chenzhou also received the same content. Although he couldn’t understand it, either, he felt Qiushui was an interesting persona. Wait until he found out that Qiushui was his doppelgänger! The boss told Suifeng not to harm Qiushui, he might be useful for Power Gang in the future to gather martial artists in Mount Emei’s Golden Summit.
Qiushui was disappointed that neither Suifeng nor the boss showed up. A modern person would understand the content of the simple modern game: The Hero Command Token was in Pipa Pavilion.
Quishui discussed Mount Emei’s Golden Summit with San Cai. The gathering was supposed to discuss how to take down the Power Gang. According to the original story, Quishui was taught martial arts by eight major sect leaders and became the top leader of the martial arts world. However, now he didn’t know what would change in the story. San Cai asked whether he would return to reality after becoming the top guy. Qiushui hadn’t avenged his family, and his friends were still in danger; he couldn’t leave.
Quishui divided his friends into two groups. One group would stay and destroy several strongholds of the Power Gang, since their bosses would come out in full force in Mount Emei’s Golden Summit. The other group would come with him to the Summit. He also asked Xueyu to help the Brotherhood in the clinic to treat the sick people, to avoid the Nangong family.
After arriving at Mount Emei, Qiushui met Abbess Zhichen alone. She was the third person whose signature was on the Hero Command Token. The abbess was surprised to see Qiushui, who was Li Chenzhou’s lookalike! Master Tianzheng and Master Taichan were both killed by the Power Gang. Now, Zichen called all sects to fight the Power Gang to help the Xiao Family.
Qiushui showed the abbess the Hero Command Token and asked if she knew anything about the Voidheart Codex. His friend had died saving his life; now he wanted to help his father, who was injured by the techniques of the Voidheart Codex. Zichen explained that the Hero Command Token was forged to drive away their common enemy, the Northern Wasteland. There was no secret inside. If there was any secret, it must be Crazy Yan who did it. He should be the only one who knew about the Voidheart Codex.
Qiushui then showed Abbess Zhichen the Golden Swallow pin given by Old Madam Wu. She knew a bit about Crazy Yan’s sister, whom she saved while the little girl was sick. Qiushui asked if there was anything to identify the girl. Zhichen gave him a pink little cloak worn by the little girl at that time. Also, she had an apricot blossom birthmark on the back of her neck.
The Power Gang sent Suifeng, Zhao Shirong, and their two strong hidden allies, the East and the West Double Swords. The Great King Zhu from Liushan Sect also had his two hidden masters. They and the four heroes from the Shaolin and Wudang Sects started fighting and fell off the cliff to have their private battle. Suifeng quietly withdrew, and Zhao Shirong singlehandedly fought with the other sects. Qiushui, who came out after meeting the abbess, saw his father’s sword sheath fall off the cliff, too. He went down to investigate and saw an “R” sign.
At the bottom of the cliff, all eight masters were severely exhausted after the big fights. Their meridians were injured, and they wouldn’t survive. After the four Wudang and the Shaolin masters found out that the young man who followed them down was Qiushui from the Huanhua Sect, they were willing to pass down their lifelong martial arts skills and secret techniques to Qiushui to do justice and to avenge them. The four other people, the masters from Liushan Sect and the Power Gang, also didn’t want to lose. They also passed down their martial arts skills to Qiushui!
Episode 27
Qiushui remembered that either the East or the West Swords had taken his father’s sword sheath, so he quickly asked them about the origin. The East Sword told him that his old friend’s sect had been wiped out. During his last breath, his friend told him about a traitor among his disciples. The traitor communicated with the outsiders and used “R” on every letter. All eight masters died. Qiushui buried them all, and left with the sword sheath in his hand.
Meanwhile, in the fighting arena, Zhao Shirong had defeated several martial artists. Abbess Zhichen took the last move. Her martial art skills were originally superior to Zhao Shirong’s, but Li Chenzhou suddenly arrived and struck everyone with the Qianjie Finger movement. Many people were shocked that Li Chenzhou looked like Xiao Qiushui. After the strike, everyone felt heart pain. Zhichen knew the moves used by Li Chenzhou. Tribulation Finger could control the heart pulse, which was equivalent to mastering everyone’s life and death.
The Great King Zhu didn’t want to be controlled by Li Chenzhou, so he offered that whoever could defeat Li Chenzhou would get the Infinite Pill. Just when Yiren wanted to do it, Quishui arrived and stopped him. He said the Pill was poisonous and the offer was fake. When Yiren asked why Quishui knew it, Zhao Shirong told him that the real Infinite Pill had been taken by Xiao Qiushui.
Now the twins… eh… lookalikes stood face to face. Quishui was shocked seeing that his archenemy looked exactly like him! Li Chenzhou was more composed and commented that Quishui indeed looked a bit like him. Somebody chimed in that Quishui gege is more handsome than Li Chenzhou, haha (most likely Sancai said it)! They started fighting, and the duel scene was very cool. Quishui used the moves transformed by his masters. Li Chenzhou praised that he had nice moves, but they were not refined enough. Li Chenzhou’s internal strength was profound, and although Qiushui had many moves, he lacked the internal strength. Li Chenzhou struck with a heavy punch and stopped just as he was about to injure Qiushui. Zhao Shirong thoughtfully put on a cloak for her husband, a sign that they must stop fighting. Li Chenzhou praised Qiushui as one of the most prominent young people, so he wouldn’t kill him today. Qiushui said he would kill Li Chenzhou in the future.

Qiushui asked Li Chenzhou why he came to Mount Emei’s Golden Summit. Li Chenzhou took out a jade pendant and gave it to Quishui, telling him to use it with the Hero Command Token. After getting approval from Abbess Zhichen, Qiushui took out the Hero Command Token. Together with the jade pendant that worked like a light transmitter, the Hero Command Token produced an image of a map. Li Chenzhou explained that nine years ago, the Northern Wastelanders seized the Capital and took the martial arts manuals and treasures. General Wu intercepted the transportation, but during the chaos, the treasures were scattered in Nantian Abyss. Crazy Yan accidentally stumbled upon the treasures and carved a map on the Token. His intention was for General Wu to find the map, but the Token became wanted by some greedy people, mistakenly thinking that it was related to the Voidheart Codex. Li Chenzhou ordered everyone who was there to go with him to the Nantian Abyss. To show his good intentions, he freed some people that was hurt by his Tribulation Finger. Before leaving, he told Qiushui that he had the bodies of his parents, but they were not killed by the Power Gang.
Before Qiushui and his group left Mount Emei, Abbess Zhichen warned him not to trust Li Chenzhou completely. Her original intention was to gather the sect leaders to fight against the Power Gang. But it was tainted by someone who spread a rumor about the Voidheart Codex being in Li Chengzhou’s hands.
Sancai asked Qiushui if he believed what Li Chenzhou said. Qiushui replied he didn’t trust anyone, but one thing he was sure of was that neither Suifeng nor Li Chenzhou was “R”. This mysterious figure deliberately created conflicts between various gangs, and his purpose was to overturn the entire martial arts world.
Episode 28
Xiao Yiren and Xiao Kaiyan invited their lil bro for a meal, but the true intention was to interrogate him about the new martial skills he obtained. Although Qiushui told them honestly what happened, Yiren accused him of lying. He should’ve secretly practiced the Voidheart Codex to gain such rapid progress in martial arts. Yiren demanded the Changge Sword because Qiushui had abandoned the Huanhua Sword Technique. Qiushui said bluntly that Yiren was not qualified, he wouldn’t give it up. Yiren got angry and he overturned the table. Darn it, no dinner for Qiushui!
There was this masked guy in black who went around trying to recruit people to a new sect. Of course, he went to Yiren, who was drinking alone after Qiushui left. The guy told him to go to Nantian Abyss to retrieve something for him, and he would make Huanhua Sect the largest sect for him and revitalize the Xiao family. The losers Tang cousins were candidates, too. The man in black kidnapped Qiushui and wanted to absorb his internal strength. Luckily, Qiushui could break the rope that tied him. The man disappeared. Qiushui guessed that the man was “R” and the instigator of the rumor that Voidheart Codex was hidden in the Hero Command Token.
When Qiushui returned to the Liang Mansion, he was curious about the “R” identity. He knew “R” was not Liu Suifeng. How about Li Chenzhou? Sancai spilled the secret that Li Chenzhou was the current emperor’s younger brother. OMG… Li Chenzhou was a prince? No wonder he was so charismatic! Although Li Chenzhou was even less likely to collude with the Northern Wilderness, the guy was still unfamiliar to Qiushui. He had better keep an eye on Li Chenzhou.
Three days passed. Various sects gathered at the meeting place as agreed. The Power Gang was led by Zhao Shirong and the Knife King. Liu Suifeng and the Red Phoenix secretly followed them. Li Chenzhou did not appear. Someone asked if the Power Gang had bad intentions. Zhao Shirong said that her husband would arrive later.
After searching for the whole day with no avail, everyone rested. At night, Li Chenzhou followed Qiushui, who took a walk alone. He clarified that the Power Gang only eliminated the bad sects that colluded with the Northern Wilderness. How about the Qiao family? Li Chenzhou said that he ordered the Power Gang to surround the place, not to kill. By the time the second group came, they found out that the Sword Manor was already breached. The slaughter must be from inside the Sword Manor.

As for the heads of the Wudang Sect and the Shaolin Sect, Li Chenzhou explained that the Power Gang was indeed responsible, but it was also because someone used the Thousand-Faces Mask to impersonate him and issued the orders.
Li Chenzhou said that he took Xiao Xilou and Sun Huishan’s bodies back to the Power Gang to find out the cause of death. At that time, a note with the letter “R” was found next to them. They were killed by a finger technique so rare that nobody knew about it. After the Nantian Abyss trip, he would send the bodies back to the Xiaos.
Qiushui asked why Li Chenzhou sent small sects to explore the treasure. The large Power Gang alone could explore Nantian Abyss, no need for other sects to help. Qiushui was suspicious that Li Chenzhou had another agenda. The latter only smiled and walked away.
Finally, after some treacherous traps, Qiushui discovered the treasure. He still tested for hidden weapons. After there were no more weapons, people started gathering the treasures. Li Chenzhou then appeared, telling them that 90% would be dedicated to supporting the front line of the Great Xi Kingdom against the Northern Wilderness, and the remaining 10% would be shared by people who were attending.
Episode 29
Although Li Chenzhou’s words were awe-inspiring, many sects didn’t fully believe him. Instead, they asked Qiushui’s opinion, since he had done practical good deeds in the martial arts world. Qiushui knew he couldn’t confront Li Chenzhou right away, so he just agreed to support the Great Xi Kingdom’s frontline. Other sects ended up donating their shares to the country.
While everyone was packing the treasures away, Li Chenzhou saw two disciples of the Huanhua sect sneaking into the treasures. He killed one of them. Li Chenzhou showed them the Northern Wilderness mark on his arm. Yiren chased the other disciple. He suspected that the man in black was one of them. They were the newly recruited disciples.
After Yiren left, Qiushui defended his brother and told the rest Yiren would never collude with Northern Wilderness. Most likely, he was framed. He would investigate this matter and give everyone an explanation of what had happened. Li Chenzhou wanted Qiushui to send the treasure to the front line, then, he would return the bodies of his parents.
After transporting the treasure, Qiushui finally returned home with his two friends. Yes, you read it right, returned home. Remember, some people from Guangling came to visit last time, and they were grateful because Qiushui exposed Qu Hanshan as the Sword King? They brought materials and helped rebuild the Xiao family home, along with Tang Fang and the other people from Shenzhou Sworn Brotherhood.
While Qiushui was admiring his home, which was rebuilt exactly like the old one, his second bro Kaiyan suddenly showed up and reported that he and Yiren had chased a man in black who tried to recruit them to a new sect before. At the same time, Zhao Shirong and the Power Gang came with their parents’ bodies. She said that Marrow-Disrupting Finger killed their parents. The Old Master of Tuoshan created this finger technique, and he only had three disciples: Fei Yuqiao from the Fei family, Deng Qingfeng from the Deng Family (Deng Yuhan’s father), and Tang Yaoshun from the Tang Family (Tang Fang’s father). Tang Fang argued her father was severely injured, had been bedridden for a year, and was now in a wheelchair. No way he did it. Zhao Shirong agreed, because it took a lot of internal energy to execute this finger technique. Yuhan also swore that his father would never hurt the Qiao family. Qiushui trusted his friends and would seek Fei Yuqiao.
After saying condolences, everyone left but Tang Fang. She warned Qiushui to be careful when visiting Li Chenzhou. The latter invited Quishui to come to the Power Gang HQ to discuss an important issue, and Zhao Shirong gave him a pass. Kaiyan went down the mountain to get coffins. Qiushui finally had time to mourn his parents, and when he was crying beside his mother’s body, he accidentally found that her palm was printed with the English word “Reset”. Qiushui was confused for a while, but soon remembered what had happened to Xiao Mingming before transmigration to the novel.

Oh my… now we know what happened to Xiao Mingming, who we met a long time ago in the first episode! It was so infuriating.
After graduating, Xiao Mingming worked for Li Nan, his senior from the university, as his ghost writer. Li Nan promised Mingming to give him a full authorship. Li Nan suggested that Mingming’s protagonist should be given cheats and be able to reset his life. Mingming disagreed; he only wanted to write a pure wuxia novel. A few days later, there was a new launch book conference, and Li Nan completely used Mingming’s novel outline. Mingming was angry and confronted Li Nan about the plagiarism. Li Nan calmly told him that only his name could bring popularity. Mingming was just his ghostwriter and only received a manuscript fee.
Mingming was angry because his idea had been stolen. His colleague Li Cai suggested he not be serious. If he’s angry, just vent his anger in the Magic Codex Interactive Writing System. However, before Mingming used the Codex, he accidentally saw Li Nan’s laptop and found out that his boss had been selling the country’s secrets to foreign countries. Li Nan showed up, and both fought. They accidentally knocked over a cup of coffee, causing an electric current. Both Mingming and Li Nan were transmigrated to the novel world!
Now Qiushui realized that the transmigrated Li Nan was his real villain. But who could he be? If what Li Chenzhou said about the killer of his parents was in the Qiao family, who was Li Nan’s hidden accomplice?
His friend Deng Yuhan returned to him. He had always felt guilty because back then, he couldn’t make his father help the Xiao family when they were besieged. He proposed to go back home with Qiushui to verify whether his father had killed Xiao Xilou and Sun Huishan.
Episode 30
So many places to visit! First, Qiushui went to the Power Gang HQ to meet Li Chenzhou. Although they disagreed in the ways they worked in the wuxia world, at least it seemed they had a common enemy now. A group that used the Eagle Whistles. Li Chenzhou found the flute in Nantian Abyss last time, with the Huanhua Sect. He guessed that Xiao Yiren had been used by that enemy, so they had to work together. Qiushui told Li Chenzhou that he would go to the Deng family and the Feng family to find out. He asked a favor from Li Chenzhou, to send his famous physician, the Herbal King of the Power Gang, to cure Tang Fang’s father. Although it was inappropriate for the Power Gang to enter the Tang Sect, Li Chenzhou agreed to Qiushui’s request. Later, Qiushui told Tang Fang to wait for Herbal King to go with her.
Next visit was to the Deng Family with Yuhan. They were welcomed by Yuhan’s older sister, Yulan. Yulan told her brother to see their father right away while preparing a meal for Qiushui. When Yuhan went into his father’s room, his hands and feet were suddenly tied up. Meanwhile, Yulan wanted to poison Qiushui. Luckily, Qiushui was aware and struck her acupoints. Qiushui ran to the room where Yuhan went. Deng Qingfeng refused to come out and hid behind a screen while launching hidden weapons through a mechanism. Qiushui forced Deng Qingfeng to come out. After one strike, Deng Qingfeng fell directly to the ground. Qiushui found that Yuhan’s father didn’t have much internal strength at all!
After Yuhan and Qiushui begged many times, Deng Qingfeng finally told the truth. 15 years ago, when he was suppressing bandits in Baicao Valley, he was injured by a thunderbolt bomb. Although he was alive, all his meridians were broken, and all his skills disappeared. To protect his family, he set up many traps around his mansion. The only one who knew that he was injured was Xiao Xiliu, who went to Baicao Valley with him, but Xiao Xiliu never spilled the secret. Deng Qingfeng went into seclusion, and people only heard rumors about him. When he saw many sects collapse here and there, even the strong Huanhua Sect, he had no choice but to join the Water Gang Great King Zhu.
Qiushui tried to heal Deng Qingfeng with Grandmaster Dayin’s The Energy Taming Technique. However, Yuhan’s father had been injured for too long; only 10% of his internal strength could be restored.
Darn it, apparently Qiushui and Yuhan’s visit was not a secret. After Qiushui left, Suifeng sneaked into Deng Qingfeng’s study to avenge the Baicao Valley people.
