Episode 21
Things got back to normal after what happened on Fox Clan. Tian Huo and Chang Mei seem to accept his sacrifice, but Bai Shuo practices swordsmanship using King Yi Sword desperately to become stronger and able to protect her loved ones. After the near-death experience, Fan Yue decided to tell Bai Shuo about his background and confess his feelings to her. Ten years ago, Tiger Clan annihilated Baize Clan, and his brother Qi Feng was taken away because of his purple eyes. His grandfather gave all his spiritual power to save Fan Yue. After becoming stronger, he found out that Tiger Clan was annihilated and Qi Feng disappeared. Fan Yue and Bai Shuo confirmed their relationship in front of the nameplates. Bai Shuo also misses her sister, so Fan Yue asks Tian Huo to search for her.
Episode 22
Zang Mu, Zang Shan’s mother from Stone Clan, comes to visit and asks for help since Zang Shan’s father Zhang Wu disappeared and a lot of clan members died mysteriously. Bai Shuo gets another vision, and everybody guess the next Contemplation will show up in the Stone Clan. They all go to the Stone Clan in Shizu Village, and after checking the bodies, Zang Shan guesses it’s connected to what happened in the past but Zang Mu denies it.
Zhen Yu punishes Fu Ling with the excruciating Heart Devouring Pill so she won’t betray him. Xixi, Fu Ling’s pet monster, begs Chong Zhao to help her and lists tons of good things she did to save him. Chong Zhao lectures her on how she can choose her own path to survival rather than being under a cruel master like Zhen Yu. Fu Ling reminds him that after he saves her, their fates are connected. When drinking medicine she suddenly gets a migraine and flashbacks again, and recites Chong Zhao’s family motto. Aww, little Fu Ling, or Bai Xi, already had a crush on Chong Zhao when little? After learning that Fu Ling had only entered Cold Spring Palace ten years ago without any memories, Chong Zhao suspects she is Bai Xi, Bai Shuo’s sister, and Zhen Yu erased her memories and manipulated her.
A mysterious man in a wheelchair suddenly shows up in the Stone Clan. Darn it! Is he Chen Ye in disguise? He has a whistle necklace and Fan Yue recognizes it as his brother Qi Feng. Qi Feng says that the purple-eyed boy Tiger Clan looked for in the past was actually Fan Yue, but their grandfather exchanged their eye colors, guilt-tripping Fan Yue. Bai Shuo tries to heal Qi Feng, but she’s also suspicious that the long-lost brother suddenly shows up.
Episode 23
Chong Zhao sneaked into Zhen Yu’s room and found a cracked ancient mirror. Zhen Yu is alarmed but when he hits Chong Zhao he sees the mark on Chong Zhao’s forehead and it scares him. Chong Zhao feels a strange power other than a demonic one and Fu Ling remembers the same mark she saw on his forehead before. He remembers threatening Lao Gu to divine about three children who will decide the fate of the world. Lao Gu divined a purple-eyed boy from Baize Clan, a human girl from Bai family, but it seemed he lied about the third boy from Eternal Race who would be born 20 years later. Zhen Yu uses the ancient mirror to communicate with his master from Hidden Race.
Qi Feng is up to no good and in cahoots with Zang Shan’s mother. She lures Fan Yue to Shizu Village in exchange for Qi Feng freeing her husband. When Fan Yue, Bai Shuo, and Zang Shan are investigating the murder case in Stone Formation, a man in black attacks them and Zang Shan injures him. He then tells Fan Yue and Bai Shuo about what happened ten years ago. After being chased away by Tiger Clan, Stone Clan settled in this place and Zang Shan’s father killed the young man who settled first. His resentment aura haunted Stone Clan and they erected stone formation to suppress his soul. Zang Shan argued with his father about that and left his Clan. Zang Shan says his father broke the man’s legs. Bai Shuo and Fan Yue suspect Qi Feng.
The man in black shows up dead and it’s Zang Shan’s father. Stone Clan accuses him of killing his father because of hatred. Fan Yue and Bai Shuo check the deceased body and find an evil insect. They suspect it’s Cold Spring Palace’s trick and Zang Shan’s mother has anything to do with the case. She indeed tries to attack Qi Feng because her husband ends up dead. While Fan Yue comforts Zang Shan, Bai Shuo looks for his mother. An evil insect tries to attack her but Qi Feng sees it, blocks the attack, and falls into a coma.
Episode 24
Qi Feng is indeed Chen Ye and goes berserk with long-time hate to revenge on everyone. After Baize Clan was annihilated by Tiger Clan, Stone Clan ate their meat and bones to survive. Qi Feng put evil insect worms inside the Stone Clan’s food. Bai Shuo has to summon the Yi King Sword to stun the Stone Clan people, who became zombies and wanted to kill Zang Shan who is accused of killing his father and mother (who is killed by Qi Feng). Fan Yue, poisoned by a female evil insect, wants to kill Zang Shan. Bai Shuo confronts Qi Feng using Desireless Stone. She sees Qi Feng’s past and finds out that Qi Feng was tasked by his grandfather to protect his brother. That’s why he never told Tiger Clan they got the wrong boy. She tells Qi Feng that he never actually hated Fan Yue. Zhen Yu erased Qi Feng’s memory. Bai Shuo also sees her sister Bai Xi in the vision.
Episode 25
Because Qi Feng completely controls Fan Yue to attack Bai Shuo, Zang Shan takes the initiative to sacrifice himself to save his clan and stop the resentment between the two clans. He attracts the female evil insect from Fan Yue’s body into his and blows himself to death! He turns into a beautiful blue stone. The zombies in Stone Clan fall into a coma, the Stone Formation is destroyed, Baize Clan resentment is released, and Bai Shuo absorbs Contemplation Hate and passes out.
Zhen Yu injects a demonic power into Chong Zhao’s body and he can’t pull it out. He realizes he can’t be a Lanling Sect disciple anymore but he asks Fu Ling to leave Cold Spring Palace with him. Before that, he sends a message to Lanling Sect about his findings on Zhen Yu, and Jin Yao speculates Zhen Yu might be related to the ancient Hidden Clan.
Fan Yue takes his brother back to Bright Moon Palace. Tian Huo is back at Bright Moon Light Palace with two findings. Firstly, the Taoist priest who took Bai Xi away came from Cold Spring Palace. Secondly, there is a young survivor from Tiger Clan, A Nuo. She is Tiger King’s daughter and she told Fan Yue that her Clan was massacred by a man in a wheelchair (Chen Ye). She also witnessed that Tiger King took orders from a mysterious man with a snake tattoo on his arm. Qi Feng remembers that Zhen Yu had a tattoo mark on his arm while he took in little Qi Feng.
Episode 26
While in a coma, Desireless Stone takes Bai Shuo to her sea of consciousness to meet Baize Clan and Fan Yue’s grandfather Gu Shang who has waited for her to tell the truth about the purple-eyed boy. When Fan Yue and Qi Feng were born (they are twins), Fan Yue had purple eyes. Gu Shang knew he is the reincarnation of Demon Lord Jing Yuan, so he asked Qi Feng to protect Fan Yue. The twins changed their eye colors. One day Fan Yue got lost in the mountain and had amnesia. At that time Jing Yuan entered Fan Yue’s body. That’s why Fan Yue is stronger than any demon master. Gu Shang also says that there will be a Hidden God who will reappear in the world but he doesn’t know who.
Fan Yue, who is worried that Bai Shuo is staying too long in her sea of consciousness, enters it forcefully and reunites with his grandfather. Later Gu Shang says he and the Clan have to disappear, but before that, he gives Baize’s spiritual power to Bai Shuo to transform the Hate Contemplation. After they wake up from the illusion, they find out that Qi Feng escapes from Bright Moon Palace, after A Nuo tries to kill him. He’s back to Cold Spring Palace and Fan Yue is disappointed by his brother’s loyalty to Zhen Yu. Chen Ye (let me call this name now) tries to kill his master but fails and Zhen Yu imprisons him. Fu Ling visits him in the dungeon, asking for the antidote for Heart Devouring Pills. Chen Ye doesn’t have it but tells her that Zhen Yu keeps it in his room. Fu Ling isn’t interested in Chen Ye’s suggestion to look into her past (since he knows she’s Bai Xi). When Fu Ling tries to steal the antidote, she’s caught by Zhen Yu. The master kills Xixi and Fu Ling suddenly regains her memories and knows that she’s Bai Xi, and lived in Ning’an City with her father and sister. Fu Ling cannot accept the fact that she is the sister of her love rival.
Episode 27
Zhen Yu wants to kill Fu Ling since she’s no longer the human girl he was looking for. Of course, as usual, Chong Zhao appears in time to save her. Zhen Yu also knows that Chen Ye is not the Baize boy he was looking for but Fan Yue. Zhen Yu releases the news that he will execute Chen Ye. Although Fan Yue that it’s a trap, he goes to save his brother anyway. Zhen Yu controls Fan Yue to repair his cracked mirror. To destroy the mirror, Fan Yue burns another of his Seven Star Soul Burning Seals. Chen Ye uses his life to block Zhen Yu’s attack on his brother, he dies, dissipates, and the purple eyes return to Fan Yue. Zhen Yu is not dead, though. Bai Shuo arrives to fight Zhen Yu to avenge her father and uses the power of Desireless Stone to seriously injure Zhen Yu and he escapes.
When they’re back in Bright Moon Palace, Fan Yue returns Qi Feng’s name tag to his secret room and bursts into tears when he sees Qi Feng’s message “I’m sorry”. When he’s mourning on the cliff of Jiyu Mountain, Bai Shuo comes to console him. The two reaffirm their feelings and vow to each other. The episode ends with them kissing passionately. The moon and the stars blend with nature creating beautiful explosions of splendid arrays of colors.
Episode 28
The love between Chong Zhao and Fu Ling develops, too. During the battle between Zhen Yu and Fan Yue, Chong Zhao takes Fu Ling out of Cold Spring Palace, and back to his humble home in Ning’an. He begs Lanling Sect Master Jing Yuan to heal Fu Ling, but his master asks him to return to Lanling Sect instead. Chong Zhao decided to stay with Fu Ling. He also seeks help from Bai Shuo, but she is cold towards them and refuses to help.
When remembering his childhood he finds out that it was Bai Xi, not Bai Shuo, who had given him great comfort. He wants to tell her, but she has another bout of migraine. She gets flashbacks of her past, her encounter with Chong Zhao’s mother Meng Ning. It seems it was suspicious and Fu Ling warns Chong Zhao not to trust Lanling Sect including the leader Jin Yao. But Chong Zhao doesn’t believe her.
That darn Zhen Yu is amazingly still alive after all his lackeys are gone. He wants to repair the broken mirror and chooses to use Lao Gu. Bai Shuo’s master sends a SOS signal to his student and Fan Yue, and they rush to Bodhi Village to save Lao Gu. There they find a woman the villagers regard her Divine Maiden Lan Zhu. This woman’s face flashes through Fan Yue’s mind before. Her bracelet is also familiar. Fan Yue thinks that Lan Zhu has a relationship with Demon God Jing Yuan. Bai Shuo notices their subtle glances and decides to look for her teacher.
Episode 29
I hated it from the end of the last episode on with the addition of Lan Zhu, who in my opinion just created an unnecessary ‘love triangle’. Chong Zhao likes Bai Shuo, in the beginning, although it’s annoying but sounds more acceptable because her father wanted to marry them before. Luckily Chong Zhao spends a lot of time with Fu Ling as the drama progresses, so Bai Shuo and Fan Yue’s romance is smooth sailing.
Anyway, Lan Zhu supposedly has been waiting for her 60,000-year-lover to show up, which we can easily guess is Demon God Jing Yuan. After talking with Fan Yue, somehow this super old maid wants to keep him. Although Fan Yue knows he’s not Jing Yuan and he loves Bai Shuo, this ancient connection is uncomfortable. Bai Zhuo, too, tries to suppress her jealousy.
Let’s keep the stupid ‘love triangle’ short by changing our attention to our second couple. In her search for her master, Bai Shuo not only finds her teacher (who runs away from Zhen Yu) but also Chong Zhao’s parents: Chong Tai and Meng Ning. They don’t want to reveal why they disappeared, so Bai Shuo writes a letter to Chong Zhao. Overjoyed, he comes to Bodhi Village with Fu Ling. Meng Ning recognizes both girls as the Bai sisters but Chong Zhao says Fu Ling his friend is not Bai Xi. Bai Shuo is suspicious and asks Fu Ling directly but Fu Ling denies she is Bai Xi. After Bai Shuo leaves, Fu Ling cries miserably hugging Chong Zhao. And I love Fu Ling’s eye accessory!
Episode 30
For how long will this crazy Luan Zhu show up on the screen?
Anyway, Bai Shuo hears that her master is injured so she goes to the mountain to collect medicinal herbs. She’s attacked by carnivorous plants, but Fu Ling saves her. Fu Ling still denies she’s Bai Xi. Lao Gui says that Luan Zhu has Spirit Transformation Caulron which can detect biological relationships. Bai Shuo borrows it from Luan Zhu, not knowing it’s a trap. ‘Lao Gui’ is Luan Zhu’s puppet, the real one is tied up in the cave and dying. Luan Zhu tricks Bai Shuo and they swap bodies. Luckily, Fan Yue is suspicious of this ‘Bai Shuo’ because she behaves abnormally. He goes looking for Luan Zhu, but Bodhi Village doctor Qin Jiang doesn’t allow him to disturb Luan Zhu who falls into slumber. She traps Bai Shuo in her sea of consciousness. Chong Zhao is also suspicious of his parents and he tells Fu Ling it seems the parents are the product of ancient puppetry techniques. Luan Zhu has been in cahoots with none other than Jin Yao, the master of Lanling Sect, for nearly a hundred years. Jin Yao provides immortals to Luan Zhu to absorb spiritual energy. He killed Chong Zhao’s parents. Luan Zhu creates Bodhi Village.
Episode 31
Fu Ling’s Heart Devouring Pill flares up again and Chong Zhao takes her to ‘Bai Shuo’. But this fake one is indifferent and harsh, Fan Yue is convinced that the real Bai Shuo will not say that to her sister. So he makes a pact with Chong Zhao who is also suspicious since ‘Bai Shuo’ tells him to kill ‘Luan Zhu’, and the real Bai Shuo will never ask anyone to kill. Fan Yue and Chong Zho team up to expose ‘Bai Shuo’ but she runs away after being wounded. From ‘Chong Tai’ and ‘Meng Ning’, Fu Ling finds out about the secret of Bodhi Village and where Lao Gui is trapped. ‘Bai Shuo’ sucks Lao Gui’s spiritual energy while Fu Ling is trapped like a cocoon. Seeing this, Bai Suo in the sea of consciousness breaks through the barrier and successfully exchanges bodies with Lan Zhu.
Episode 32
Finally, Bai Shuo and Fan Yue killed Lan Zhu, but not before she revealed that Bai Shuo is the reincarnation of Goddess Xing Yue who 60,000 years ago shot and killed God Jing Yuan. With Lan Zhu’s death, Bodhi Village disappears and the people turn into figurines of the immortals Jin Yan killed for Lan Zhu. Lao Gui and Fu Ling are saved but Lao Gui is dying. Before dying, he reveals about the two children but he doesn’t know the third one. He also apologizes to the four for what he has done in their life and their loved ones. He leaves the wailing Bai Shuo his turtle shell she can use to make the first grade of elixir.
Jin Yan, who colluded with Zhen Yu, who doesn’t have any allies anymore, finally shows his real skin to the four. He can defeat Fan Yue, Bai Shuo, and Fu Ling, but his favorite disciple Chong Zhao kills him with the hidden power he has. Bai Shuo sucks in Contemplation “Greed”.
Episode 33
Chong Zhao cannot believe that he killed his master, even though Fu Ling comforts him that Zhen Yu not only injects demon power into him but also hidden power from 60,000 years ago. Fu Ling is suspicious that Chong Zhao is the third child. Meanwhile, Fan Yue was badly hurt, and Bai Shuo frantically tried to make elixirs for him and Fu Ling. Fu Ling comforts her sister, their relationship is good now and they cherish what they have lost. Fu Ling says at first she didn’t want to acknowledge that she was Bai Xi because she felt ashamed of what she had done to her family and people.
After absorbing Five Contemplations, things seem to go back to normal. Fu Ling and Fan Yue are cured. Fu Ling and Tian Huo talk about Chong Zhao and Hidden Lord who wants to take over the world, and they decide not to tell anyone that Chong Zhao has the hidden power. Our couples spend their sweet time together in Bright Moon Palace. Is everything over? Nope with Zhen Yu still around trying to repair the ancient mirror. The moment the ancient mirror is repaired, the moon is covered by dark clouds, and Fan Yue suddenly vomits blood and loses his power.
Episode 34
During the holiday Fan Yue plans to propose to Bai Shuo, but she proposes to him first. He agrees and the two kiss and cry bitterly. Fan Yue bids farewell to Tian Huo because he’s dying. Fan Yue and Bai Shuo say goodbye on the cliff of Jiyu Mountain and he dies in her arms. Suddenly the Desireless Stone flashes and Bai Shuo is taken into Lunar Hidden Sea. He meets the white-haired guy who she saw before and thought he was her savior. He is Xiu Yan, a Lunar Deity from Lunar Clan. Bai Shuo begs him to revive Fan Yue. But Xiu Yan is already dead, and he tells Bai Shuo to fulfill her duty in Divine Way. Xiu Yan then tells Bai Shuo (and us) about what happened 60,000 years ago. In Heavens, there are three races: Demon, Hidden, and Lunar. Hidden Race is cruel and bloodthirsty, Demon Race is arrogant and unruly, and Lunar Race is a peacekeeper and protector. Although Demons and Hiddens fight for power, Lunars have Xing Yue Bow powerful weapon that is guarded by Supreme Goddess Xing Yue. Every 1,000 years Xing Yue and Mo Li, Supreme God of Hidden Race, have a fight. One day, Jing Yuan, Supreme God of Demon Race, disguises himself and becomes Xing Yue’s attendant. She already knows who he is but she keeps him close to check. During the battle between Mo Li and Xing Yue, although she wins, she’s hurt by Mo Li’s hidden power. Jing Yuan goes all the way to get Spirit Lotus, who later becomes Lan Zhu, to cure Xing Yue.
Episode 35
Jing Yuan continues to live with Xing Yue and uses his blood to cultivate Spirit Lotus and help Xing Yue eliminate hidden power in her body. The two get closer and closer, and romance blooms. After some time, Jing Yuan confesses his love to Xing Yue, and she kisses him. At that time, the bow suddenly erupts and it shoots an arrow towards Jing Yuan. The arrow tells Xing Yue that the Heavens don’t allow the two to be together. She decides to save Jing Yuan at the price of her power and erases his memory of being shot by the heavenly arrow. Of course, Jing Yuan confesses again and Xing Yue coldly rejects him. While Xing Yue is getting weak because of the power she used to save him from the shot, both Jing Yuan and Mo Li get stronger. They both want to marry Xing Yue. Jing Yuan goes to war with Lunar Race and captures a general. Xing Yue comes to Jing Yuan and proposes a fair fight, but Jing Yuan wants to marry her in 10 days instead.
Episode 36
Xing Yue stays in Jing Yuan’s place before the wedding. She’s getting weaker. Mo Li shows up and tells Jing Yuan he rescues the general who is captured by Xing Yue in exchange of marrying him in 3 days. Jing Yuan agrees to marry Mo Li instead because she wants to kill him. Xing Yue has felt a hidden power getting stronger in the Eastern Realm but she doesn’t know who practices it, Jing Yuan or Mo Li. When she was in Jing Yuan’s place she didn’t find the hidden power, so she agreed to marry Mo Li. Xing Yue is about to perish and she wants to eliminate the hidden power. She asks Xiu Yan to hold Jing Yuan not to interrupt her wedding but gives Jing Yuan a happy ending dream as it was Xing Yue’s wish. But Xiu Yan tells Jing Yuan everything and asks him to save Xing Yue.
Jing Yuan comes at the right time during Xing Yue and Mo Li’s wedding. He sacrifices himself by holding Mo Li, so Xing Yue can strike an arrow at Mo Li (and Jin Yuan). But because Xing Yue is too using the Bow, Mo Li’s Hidden Heart still survives and can only be suppressed by Xing Yue and Jing Yuan’s power. The Divine Realm collapses, the gods dissipate, and only Lunar Hidden Sea remains with Xiu Yan guarding the Hidden Heart and waiting for the next Lunar God, aka Bai Shuo, to show up. He found a righteous race to teach the ancient ways and gifted Desireless Stone to be guarded by Lanling Sect. Mo Li’s black snake becomes Zhen Yu and waits for the return of Hidden Lord. Spirit Lotus, who falls for Jing Yuan, becomes Lan Zhu. Xiu Yan tells Bai Shuo to find Xing Yue Divine Bow and destroy Hidden Heart once and for all.
Episode 37
Xiu Yan puts Hidden Heart into Desireless Stone then dissipates. Bai Shuo returns to reality and firmly believes she can save Fan Yue and will manage Bright Moon Palace for him. She tells everyone about her meeting with Xiu Yan, but not that Chong Zhao is the reincarnation of Mo Li. She separately tasks Tian Huo to look for Xing Yue Divine Bow. Fu Ling notices something is wrong with Bai Shuo and after questioning her sister, Fu Ling realizes Chong Zhao is the reincarnation of Hidden Lord. Indeed, at night Chong Zhao dreams about a mysterious man provoking him. He finds out that he’s the reincarnation of Mo Li from Bai Shuo and Fu Ling. To eliminate Hidden Power and the interference of Mo Li, Chong Zhao leaves Bright Moon Palace with Fu Ling to Xiuyan Cave when God Xiu Yan used to live. Fu Ling helps him resist the illusion by reciting Chong’s family motto.
Zhen Yu stirs up trouble by sending Lanling Sect Jin Yao’s body and an anonymous letter stating that Bai Shuo killed their leader. All seventy-two Eternal Race sects now unite to fight against Bright Moon Palace. Bai Shuo reveals what happened in Bodhi Village, but the immortals do not believe her. Especially when they detect Hidden Heart inside Desireless Stone in Bai Shuo’s body. Sensing danger in his heart, Chong Zhao and Fu Ling rush back to Bright Moon Palace and confirm that he killed his master and he’s the reincarnation of Mo Li. Zhen Yu appears and subdue the immortals while trying to suck out Hidden Heart of Bai Shuo to enter the mirror. When Bai Shuo wholeheartedly fights Zhen Yu, Fan Yue shows up… wait, not Fan Yue, but Demon God Jing Yuan with purple eyes!!!
Episode 38
The Demon God Jing Yuan returns to rescue Bai Shuo and heal her. Actually, he thinks that Bai Shuo is Xing Yue. Upon seeing the God, Zhen Yu snatches Chong Zhao’s body and Fu Ling is also dragged into Cold Spring Palace. The Eternal Race decides to unite to fight Hidden Lord. In Cold Spring Palace, Zhen Yu sacrifices his heart to repair the mirror and uses Chong Zhao’s body to resurrect Hidden Lord. Chong Zhao is suppressed in Mo Li’s deepest part of the sea of consciousness. Mo Li decides to keep Fu Ling since she’s Xing Yue’s sister. Jing Yuan tells Bai Shuo, if they want to kill Mo Li, they need to find Xing Yue Divine Bow. Tian Huo returns with news that Yi King Sword was made by Xing Yue Arrow but no news on the Bow.
Bai Shuo expresses his gratitude to Jing Yuan for saving her and Bai Xi’s life, but still cannot regard him as Fan Yue. Jing Yuan talks with Fan Yue’s spirit and decides to leave his Demon God power to Fan Yue, while he goes searching for Xing Yue in the stars. Fan Yue returns and immediately rushes to find Bai Shuo and the two reunite.
Episode 39
Mo Li starts attacking demons and immortals and many of them flee to the Polar Region seeking refuge under Bright Moon Palace. Mo Li uses blood bath sacrifice to break the enchantment Fan Yue put around Polar Region. Fan Yue, Bai Shuo, and Tian Hou face Mo Li who also takes Fu Ling with him. Fu Ling sacrifices herself by being stabbed by Mo Li’s spear when he tries to attack Bai Shuo. Bai Shuo takes Fu Ling back to Bright Moon Palace, but Fu Ling sees a vision of eating together with Bai Shuo and their father and dies. She dissipates and becomes Xing Yue Divine Bow!
After killing Fu Ling, Mo Li feels heartache and sheds tears. He has a dispute with Chong Zhao. Fu Ling comes to see Chong Zhao to bid farewell, encouraging him to defeat Mo Li. Fan Yue comforts Bai Shuo who’s mourning her sister, but he suddenly faints from the yin and yang conflict of the human blood bath and Polar Lunar Power and he may die. Mo Li then threatens Bai Shuo to go to Cold Spring Palace in exchange for the immortals and demons he captures. Bai Shuo goes alone to save them and Mo Li tells her to marry him, no matter if she is not Xing Yue.

Because they found the Bow, Tian Huo secretly forges Xing Yue’s Divine Arrow from the broken King Yi Sword with her spiritual blood from her mother’s bloodline. The first King of Yi forged his sword with the remains of Xing Yue Divine Arrow 60,000 years ago. Her spiritual power is gone and she dies in Fan Yue’s arms.
Bai Shuo agreed to marry Mo Li in exchange for not harming any living beings. During the wedding, Bai Shuo suddenly launches an attack and hits Mo Li with the power of Purple Moon she borrowed from Fan Yue when he was unconscious. Fan Yue arrives with the Xing Yue Divine Bow and Arrow and the two join forces to fight Mo Li. Chong Zhao sacrifices himself to fight Mo Li from his sea of consciousness to destroy Mo Li’s body. But Hidden Heart is still alive and brings trouble to the realm. Fan Yue puts Hidden Heart inside him and urges Bai Shuo to shoot him. In pain, Bai Shuo draws her bow and remembers all the sacrifices of her loved ones. The arrow pierces Fan Yue and hit Hidden Heart. Fan Yue dies and Bai Shuo becomes Supreme God Bai Shuo.
The Eastern Realm is in peace now. Bai Shuo goes to visit her father’s tomb and has a conversation with his spirit. Bai Xun encourages Bai Shuo to move on after achieving her life goal of becoming immortal. Bai Shuo’s forehead seal suddenly lights up and she is transported to Lunar Hidden Sea. A lady arrives and guess who? She is the shaman Sun Guan Zhu! She is the Heaven who has guided Bai Shuo, the incarnation of Xing Yue, to meet Fan Yue, the incarnation of Jing Yuan. Heaven acknowledges that she was wrong. Before, she forbade Xing Yue to fall in love. Now, Bai Shuo’s strength comes from love and sacrifice from and to the loved ones. Will Heaven bring the dead ones back to life? Heaven says:
“For love, one can die, but can also be reborn. Those who died for the great cause will eventually return in another way.”
Heaven disappears. Fan Yue appears and runs towards Bai Shuo. The nature rises in a turbulent. Bai Shuo holds Fan Yue tight since the windstorm is coming: “Fan Yue, the wind is rising”. Fan Yue answers: “It’s not the wind. It’s my heartbeat!” The two kiss passionately on the Lunar Hidden Sea. Bai Shuo closes the drama with: “Fan Yue, thank you for coming back!” The End.
Special Episode
Bai Shuo wakes up by the wind breeze in a humble but charming cottage in the mountain. She’s looking for Fan Yue and worries that this is just a fleeting dream Heaven creates for her. Fan Yue shows up and brings a bracelet from the Marriage Temple. He asks her for marriage. The next scene is them in beautiful wedding attire. Where are the guests? They’re in a hurry to get married, and can’t wait for their beloved ones to come to their secluded home: Bai Shuo’s father Bai Xin, Teacher Lao Gu, Bai Xi, Chong Zhao, Tian Huo, Zang Shan, Mu Jiu, and others. Happy ending!

What a whirlwind journey of a girl who wants to be immortal, full of heartbreaking but also heartwarming moments! At least, her journey ends happily and we watchers don’t feel like we wasted buckets of tears and sleepless nights when watching it.
