Couple Moments Episodes 33 to 36
Episode 33
The moving crew took all his belongings, but Li Yifei only waited downstairs and didn’t want to see Qian Fei. She saw the daisy plants Li Yifei gave her—now they were wilted—and finally found the sticker on the pot with the daisy’s meaning: “You’re the love I hide inside”. Later, she found his Kindle while she cleaned the room. When she called Li Yifei about it, he curtly said to throw the Kindle away.
Subconsciously, Qian Fei still cared about Li Yifei. She bribed Li Yifei’s assistant to find out what he was doing. From Zhao De, Qian Fei learned that Li Yifei was facing a lawsuit. He lost important evidence because he had lost his phone, and his email was hacked. Qian Fei remembered she taught him to back up information from his phone and still had a copy on her old laptop. She donated it to Xin You, the former finance director of Shanlifang. Qian Fei flew to Chengdu to meet Xin You at Taoyuan Village. Yao Jingjing teased Qian Fei that she had fallen in love with Li Yifei because she was running around for him, although Li Yifei reasoned that she was just helping someone in trouble.
After sending the backup of Li Yifei’s phone to his email, Qian Fei found something suspicious. Meanwhile, after receiving Qian Fei’s email with the backup of his phone, Zhao De behaved suspiciously. Li Yifei followed his assistant to Shanlifang Hotel, but Zhao De went to a VIP room. Luckily, Liao Shiyu happened to be passing by, and Li Yifei asked her to see the list of the VIP guests. He found the business enemy’s name, Sang Shiqi.
When Li Yifei found out that Qian Fei was in a hurry to fly back to Shanghai, he guessed that she had found something wrong. Judging by Zhao De’s suspicious behavior, Li Yifei was worried that Qian Fei would be targeted. So he drove to her apartment while trying to get hold of her. Meanwhile, Qian Fei was in a taxi, and they were followed by a mysterious car. Sure enough, the car tried to sideswipe the taxi so the taxi would collide. Qian Fei hurriedly called the emergency number. Li Yifei’s call was finally answered by a police officer who informed him that Qian Fei was at the hospital. Like crazy, Li Yifei looked for Qian Fei at the hospital. He immediately rushed to the ER and saw a doctor with his white coat covered in blood. Li Yifei broke down while shouting Qian Fei’s name. Qian Fei came out from behind him with the medical report. Seeing Qian Fei, he jumped and hugged her tightly. Fortunately, Qian Fei was only slightly injured. Suddenly, Li Yifei saw his family’s housekeeper. Uncle Jiang said that he was not the only one fighting. It turns out that Li Yifei’s father, Li Qiansheng, had already investigated the matter and sent Uncle Jiang to secretly protect Qian Fei.
Episode 34
Li Yifei took Qian Fei home and questioned the reason Qian Fei flew 5000 kilometers and drove a beat-up rented car with her bad driving skills. She answered with no reason. He understood that she really loved him, but was afraid to get hurt again. He asked her permission to keep loving and protecting her. Qian Fei kissed Li Yifei shyly, which he returned with a passionate kiss.
Li Yifei returned home and saw his father asleep on the sofa. He waited until his father woke up. Li Yifei expressed his gratitude to his father. He was curious about how his father found out about the danger. Li Qiansheng said that he had eaten more salt than Li Yifei had eaten rice, and he knew the dangers in business.
Li Qiansheng then admitted that he saved Qian Fei for an ulterior motive, so Li Yifei would owe him and return to Qiansheng Group. Li Yifei instead proposed to save his dad’s company with his company, Fulaxida. This father and son interaction was so cute!
Zhao De, Fang Yun, and San Shiqi were arrested.
Qian Fei started working again at another company: Xinzouqi Capital. Li Yifei picked her up from work in a flashy manner: a teddy bear and a bouquet. Qian Fei just ignored him, haha! She told Yao Jingjing that she wanted to test Li Yifei’s patience. Yao Jingjing warned her to be easy on Li Yifei, because he was so popular.
Tired of being ignored by Qian Fei, Li Yifei set up a business cooperation with Xinzouqi Capital, which meant Qian Fei had to work with Li Yifei again. She made Li Yifei agree not to let people know that they were dating. Qian Fei listed requirements for him as her boyfriend, for example not going to bars.
Li Yifei also invited her, on behalf of her company, to serve as the investment consultant of Qiansheng Group, his father’s company, while it entered into a cooperation with his company, Fulaxida.
Episode 35
Liao Shiyu was disappointed in her father because he colluded with Sang Shiqi, so she left Shanlifang. She wanted to work at Li Yifei’s company. Not wanting his girlfriend and Liao Shiyu to clash again, he introduced Gui Lili to her instead, believing that their cooperation would be more fitting. Liao Shiyu knew his girlfriend was Qian Fei, so she understood and said that Li Yifei was a good man. Aww, I like Liao Shiyu, she was a sensible woman.
Li Yifei and Qian Fei enjoy their sweet life together, although it was all the time because of their secret status. He started introducing Qian Fei to his real life. He took her to his luxurious apartment, and she thought he was spending too much money, so he suggested moving in with her again. When Qian Fei discovered his luxury car, she felt even more distressed by his lavish lifestyle and remained reluctant to make their relationship official.
Wang Ruohai texted Qian Fei and asked for financial help because his mother needed money for a kidney transplant. Qian Fei decided to sell her apartment. At first, Li Yifei was angry with Qian Fei’s decision because the apartment held beautiful memories of them. Only later did he know from Jung Cheng, who was told by Dang Yun, that Qian Fei only wanted to pay back what she had owed Wang Ruohai. After this, she could draw a line between her and her ex. So, Li Yifei secretly bought her apartment, and now he’s her landlord! With that ‘trick’, Li Yifei moved back in with Qian Fei.
Qian Fei still drew a line between personal and work life. She disagreed that Li Yifei ditched his work and flew to be with her in another city during her business trip. But she gave in to his seduction, haha!
Episode 36
Fulaxida was successfully introduced to the public. Qiangsheng Manufacturing Company was ready to invest in Fulaxida, and Li Qiansheng finally acknowledged his son’s abilities.
Qian Fei unexpectedly discovered Li Yifei’s true identity as Mr. Li Junior, the heir of the Qiansheng Group. Qian Fei felt deceived, so she changed the passcode of the apartment. When Li Yifei went home, he couldn’t go in and texted Qian Fei. She only wrote: “Heir of Qiansheng Group, go back to your mansion!” After that, Li Yifei couldn’t contact him at all; she blocked his number.
Of course, eventually, Papa Li had to rescue his bratty son.
Li Qiansheng asked Qian Fei’s boss to send Qian Fei with the finalized documents straight to his house. When Qian Fei was sitting in front of him, he said that if his son were not that stubborn, he would never agree to his dating someone coming from a family like hers. After confirming that Li Qiansheng acted as Li Yifei’s father, not the Chairman of Qiansheng Group, Qian Fei politely replied that his company assets were not liquid, and he was more under pressure than her. In other words, Qiansheng Group needed her expertise. Li Qiansheng glanced at the door, where Li Yifei was eavesdropping behind it.
He asked again, if he wrote a check for any amount that she could cash it anytime, what would she do? Qian Fei calmly said that she would take the check and leave. Li Qiansheng questioned whether she should throw the check on his face. Qian Fei retorted that he watched too many dramas, hahaha!
Li Qiansheng realized he had asked the wrong question. So he wanted her to choose: money or Li Yifei. Qian Fei rephrased the question instead, if both money and Li Yifei fell into the water, which would she rescue first? Since Li Qiansheng agreed with the modified question, Qian Fei still chose rescuing money, since Li Yifei was an excellent swimmer who was taught by his dad when little. Li Qiansheng was surprised that she knew the details about his son.
Li Qiansheng went to the point by explaining that he approved of Li Yifei hiding his identity. He was worried that people would treat him with favoritism if they knew Li Yifei was his son. He also wanted Li Yifei to taste the real world by being tempered. And his biggest worry was for his son to find his true love. Qian Fei praised Li Qiansheng as being a good father and they reached their consensus.
Li Yifei, who was eavesdropping behind the door, was worried when he couldn’t hear anything else. It turned out that Qian Fei had left. Li Yifei chased her down, and she calmly asked if he wanted to go back with her or not. With Papa Li’s mediation, the two reconciled.
A year later, Fulaxida successfully went public with IPO. Li Qiansheng and Qian Fei toasted together and Li Qiansheng thanked Qian Fei for changing his son for the better.
Li Yifei and Qian Fei went back to their old apartment. Li Yifei wanted to propose to Qian Fei, but she already beat him with a pot of daisies, a box of ring, and a proposal. Qian Fei arrived with groceries. After proposing and kissing, Li Yifei said he was hungry, hahaha!
