Episode 30
The man who wanted to kill Lin Muhan ended up being killed by him. Jiang Ji quickly revealed herself and stood by him. Xin Mei, A Sheng, and Meishan Jun’s power was back, and they left the dungeon. On the way, they rescued Bai Zongying, whose spiritual root had been dug out but was still alive. Lin Muhan and Jiang Ji were no match for Futian’s subordinate, but Lu Qianqiao arrived.
Lu Qianqiao confronted Futian, who was indeed Xiao Fan, Duan Xianyin’s other disciple. Lu Qianqiao stated that Futian became another Duan Xianyin. He dug up cultivators’ spiritual roots and used Duan Xianyin’s evil cultivation methods to become an immortal, thus winning over his followers. Lu Qianqiao asked Lin Muhan to take out the Immortal Sect’s Yangyuan Pill. Lu Qianqiao revealed to everyone that the Yangyuan Pill was the same as the Phoenix God Golden Liquid of the Qinghong Sect. Futian’s followers were shocked. They did not expect that their master was a double-faced would collude with the immortals. Futian exposed Lu Qianqiao’s identity as the War Demon and mocked his clan for exterminating their own.
Outside the Qinghong Sect’s armory room, Zuo Yingying faced off against Nian Kong Fa Wang. It turned out that Zuo Yingying had secretly reached the Nascent Soul level, so she easily defeated Nian Kong Fa Wang. She took out the weapons and helped Xin Mei and the rest to deal with the female priestess. A Sheng killed her with her sword. They proceeded to the Qinghong Sect’s hall, which was much needed. Because Lu Qianqiao’s cultivation power declined due to the exchange of flesh and bone, he couldn’t beat Futian easily. Luckily, Xin Mei, A Sheng, Zuo Yingying, and Meishan Jun arrived. Zuo Yingying handed Lu Qianqiao the Sun Crossbow he asked. This magical weapon fed with blood, so Lu Qianqiao used this opportunity to sacrifice his blood and essence to feed the Sun Crossbow and exchange his blood at the same time. The Sun Crossbow allowed him to return in time when he was at his peak with the Great Completion Stage. Lu Qianqiao knocked down Futian and the Qinghong sect members. Futian didn’t want to repent, so Lu Qianqiao killed him.
After the showdown was over, Lin Muhan and Jiang Ji accompanied Bai Zongying back to Tianyuan Sect. Zuo Yingying followed Lu Qianqiao’s group back to Liubo Temple, and to restore the “Unparalleled Secret Magic” engravings, which previously were in Futian’s hands.
Episode 31
I loved the meal scene with Lu Qianqiao, Xin Mei, A Sheng, Zuo Yingying, and Meishan Jun. Xin Mei couldn’t really cook, so the food didn’t taste very good. She reasoned that there was only cabbage at the market, so all the dishes were made with it. Lu Qianqiao just gained a sense of taste, so everything tasted good. Before, everything he had tasted like rotten food. Everything Xin Mei cooked was good to A Sheng. Only Zuo Yingying and Meishan Jun secretly made an appointment to have a late-night snack.
Zuo Yingying and Meishan Jun met Lu Qianqiao, who was still hungry, at the night market. They enjoyed yummy food together. A Sheng was unhappy when knowing that the others when to the night market to eat again. Xin Mei didn’t mind. When she tidied up A Sheng bed, she found the bracelet Jin Lun gave A Sheng. She told Xin Mei about him. She actually didn’t want to let his hand go last time, but when she saw her father’s smirking face behind Jin Lun, she was terrified and let go Jin Lun’s hand. When she met again, she drew a clear line between them. Xin Mei asked if A Sheng liked Jin Lun. Even if she liked him, she didn’t want him to be in danger. A Sheng rather lived with Xin Mei in Xinxie Manor.
In Tianyuan Sect, Lin Muhan and Jiang Ji kept secret about Lu Qianqiao from the elders and leaders, because Lu Qianqiao was kind enough to save them. The Tianyuan Sect master thought that Bai Zongying was hopeless. Jiang Ji had liked Bai Zongying, so she wanted to take care of him. He had saved her life before, so at least she wanted to repay his kindness. Lin Muhan bid farewell to Jiang Ji to return to Lingji Mountain. The leader did not want to give up the land that the Patriarch personally selected. So, new disciples had to carry water for three years. The disciple mentioned that the wooden ox and flowing horse made by the human craftsman could be used to carry goods and cross mountains without any problem. Bai Zongying thought of Xin Mei’s words and suddenly understood why she defended the Wushuang Society back in Beixiang. Jiang Ji confessed to Bai Zongying, but he rejected her. Even if he still had spiritual roots, Bai Zongying said it was impossible for them. He confessed that he had liked another woman, whom we could easily guess she was Xin Mei.
Lu Qianqiao and her friend were not only busy restoring the “Unparalleled Secret Magic” engravings, but they also worked and played, and became close to each other. Because of the danger, they were divided into two groups: one was Lu Qianqiao and Xin Mei, the other group was A Sheng and Meishan Jun. Zuo Yingying would return to her hometown. However, the leader and elders of Tianyuan Sect had been spying on them and once Lu Qianqiao and friends departed, the Tianyuan Sect took action.
Episode 33
Lu Qianqiao and Xin Mei arrived at Xutuo City and rested. They discussed which sect most likely had colluded with the Qinghong Sect. Lu Qianqiao guessed it was the Tianyuan Sect, but Xin Mei didn’t believe him. She thought the Tianyuan Sect was the most righteous. While discussing, Lu Qianqiao realized there was someone who was spying on them. They lured this person out.
At the same time, A Sheng and Meishan Jun took a break at Moon Lake. She noticed something strange on her, but didn’t know what it was. The next day, when they continued their journey, they were also followed by the Tianyuan Sect. A Sheng continued to the Central Plains with the books, while Meishan Jun lured the Tianyun Sect away.
Xin Mei and Lu Qianqiao arrived at Beimen Pass first and met the human race representative. It turned out he was Zhi Bocheng, the envoy of Jingzhou Tongjie who she had met in Chongling Valley before. He was the one who answered her questions about the Gongshun Jade Tablet correctly, but didn’t want to take the Tablets. Zhi Bocheng was also the leader of the Wushuang Society.

Emperor Zong Ding passed away. Lu Qianqiao mourned him and felt depressed. Xin Mei comforted Lu Qianqiao and offered to accompany him to go back to Chongling Valley. However, Lu Qianqiao said that it would be fine if Chu Ying accompanied him. I think Lu Qianqiao realized that once the last process, the heart replacement, he would have to say goodbye to Chu Ying, who would return to a tree or wood.
When Bai Zongying went to fetch water, he accidentally saw Bao Ri Zun Zhe, the Qinghong Sect’s elder. Bai Zongying followed him but met his junior brother Yuan Qi. Yuan Qi told him that the man he was following was Elder Li Moguan. Bai Zongying was suspicious and he asked Yuan Qi to spying on Li Moguan. It seemed Yuan Qi was caught, because the next day he was carried back full of blood. Bai Zongying begged his elder and leader to save Yuan Qi.
Episode 34
The Tianyuan Sect’s leader, Li Mofu, refused to save Yuan Qi, and he died miserably in front of the main hall. Bai Zongying saw Bao Ri Zun Zhe of the Qinghong Sect was Elder Li Moguan of the Tianyuan Sect. His Sect colluded with the Qinghong Sect. The leader knew about it, and he might even be the person behind the scenes! To shut Bai Zongying’s mouth, they locked him up.
Lu Qianqiao bid farewell to Xin Mei as he and Meishan Jun would go to Chongling Valley for his last process, changing his heart. Xin Mei would return to the Xin Xie Manor with A Sheng. She didn’t know that A Sheng was possessed by her father. Man, this guy was so hard to kill! Xin Mei went to look for A Sheng. The possessed A Sheng injured her. She tried to wake A Sheng up. When A Sheng became conscious, she was shocked to see her wounded sister and rushed to the Safe Haven Inn to rescue Xin Mei.
On the way to Chongling Valley, Lu Qianqiao saw Li Mofu’s illusion. Lu Qianqiao sensed that the Tianyuan Sect’s leader wanted to see him. He knocked Meishan Jun out, since he didn’t want to put Meishan Jun in danger. After Meishan Jun was rescued, Lu Qianqiao left and headed towards Tianyuan Mountain. Lu Qianqiao wanted to clarify to Li Mofu that everything that had happened had nothing to do with Xin Mei and Xin Xiezhuang. Li Mofu asked someone to take Lu Qianqiao to a courtyard to rest. Seeing children’s toys in the room, Lu Qianqiao suddenly recalled his childhood memories. It turned out that his father was a Tianyuan Sect member, which was confirmed later by Li Mofu.
Using the magic weapon Sun Crossbow, Lu Qianqiao met Jiang Ji and learned what happened to Bai Zongying. Jiang Ji told Lu Qianqiao that Bai Zongying had disappeared, and people told her he had gone down the mountain. Jiang Ji guessed that the Tianyuan Sect might have locked up Bai Zongying. Lu Qianqiao looked for Bai Zongying and found him. Bai Zongying told Lu Qianqiao about Bao Ri Zun Zhe/Li Moguan.
Episode 35
A Sheng seduced Jin Lun to sleep with her, then stole his soul-bound Golden Lotus and rushed to the Inn to save Xin Mei’s life. As a result, Xin Mei’s advanced from Nascent Soul to Void Realm. After waking up, Xin Mei was shocked when she found out what A Sheng did and slapped her. The golden lotus is Jin Lun’s life protection. Without it, he was useless. Jin Lun was not angry when he learned that A Sheng stole his Golden Lotus. He kept waiting for her to return, but she never did.
Lu Qianqiao went to search for the sacred seed of the Jianmu Tree to destroy it, so Li Mofu couldn’t advance to immortality. While he was confronting Li Mofu, Jiang Ji took the opportunity to rescue Bai Zongying. Because of the exchanges, Lu Qianqiao’s cultivation level had decreased, so he couldn’t stand against Li Mofu. Xin Mei’s master, Xin Xiong, appeared and accused Li Mofu of using other people’s lives to pave the way for him to ascend to heaven and become a deity. They fought, but Xin Xiong also couldn’t match Li Mofu because Xin Xiong was one level below Li Mofu. He took Lu Qianqiao away. He was dying, so he exerted all his energy to feed nature, and all the trees, plants, and flowers were blooming.
A Sheng told Xin Mei the truth about herself, that she was probably the god prophesied. She also confessed that she purposely approached Xin Mei because Xin Xiong was the only one who cut slack on disciple recruitment.
Meishan Jun, Zhu Yu, and the disciples from Chongling Valley showed up at the Inn. Meishan Jun told Xin Mei that Lu Qianqiao knocked him out. When he went to Chongling Valley, Lu Qianqiao was never there. They were all worried about him and went to look for Xin Mei. Seeing all the flowers blooming, Zhu Yu said that a cultivator from the Great Completion Stage had dissipated his cultivation.
TL;DR

- Lu Qianqiao confronted Li Mofu and was saved by Xin Mei’s master. However, Xin Xiong died after taking Lu Qianqiao away.
